06' Jabo Fall Run 1" inchers
I just got in the mail a box of the new 06' Jabo 1"inchers. Man if this ain't their most colorful marbles to date.
Thank you very, very, much, Mr. Dave McCullough. You ARE the MAN!
There are combos w/ 3-4+ colors. Some very cool, wild and crazy swirls. I would call them Jabo "Exotics".
If you ever wanted to purchase some Jabos, do it now. AWESOME RUN.
Will show pics tomorrow when the sun comes up. Just got them tonite.
Patry you have any more pics of yours. Would love to see.

One of these types which my pictures do not do justice is best looking marble I have seen in some time....A few as a gift from Ron Shephard---- Thanks buddy! I plan to call Dave and see about buying some...

Probably the only one to see them all is Dave M. or Dale Simmons. Jabo made a 2006 fall run during late August and Sept.,during the Sistersville show. They were appreciated enough that Dave got the ok to make another run,the entire month of Nov 2006.

Ok I've seen the 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" inch Jabos but I thought thay were made by the workers wadding up two(2) 5/8" marbles into one???

Yes they have a 1-1/2 machine. Its been there long before Dave and his wife took over. It was back in Sistersville when first asked them how big was the biggest marble they could make. I was actually hoping for a 2 inch answer, but the 1-1/2 came up. I suggested they take all the left over cracked up stuff from previous fall runs and shove it through, that would do a couple of things for them, use up the junk and make big marbles that would sell like hot cakes. I told him Id take several cases right off the top. Ive sent Dave an email or two and will probably end up calling him just to keep a poke at the fire. How about everyone here poke a stick at that fire as well? Never know, enough sticks might make him think twice.

dave said to make the 1-1/2 he would have to make adjustments add bushings etc... heres some i got at the factory yest outta the 2nds bin...

Would Dave consider doing these adjustments? Is it a lot of work involved doing this?
1 1/2" multi-color swirls by Jabo would be awesome.

Well I guess it can't be that easy or it probably would have been done already.
Hey Duff, whats an approximate (marbles) total for an average fall or spring run?
I remember hearing something like 1 million or 1 and 1/2 million on a 05' run. Am I close?

sounds bout right to me ant...i heard it sumplace but i cant remember fer sure. i know they keep the count low cause of the cost...theyre really doing it for a favor to collectors...i dont know why more folks dont appreciate em for what they are....dave could make any sort of mibs patch ,,etc but the cost to us would be astronomical...some would rather degrade and make fun of them than gather em ...jabos hold a place in collectible marbles. i cant believe some threads the pissin and moanin threads gets way more responses than those where people want or give info. its not a friendly hobby,,,too many people gets screwed or thinks they did...steve

Come on now. Just cause a lot of collecters don't like Jabos does not make it an unfriendly hobby. Thats rediculous. I don't care one bit for them at all and I am one of the friendliest guys around(LOL). It is like most vintage collecters of any item. Even though fantastic reproductions of the items they collect are being made today they wouldn't think of having one in their home. Very much the same with many marble collecters. Peace,Galen thinks it is easier to pick on Jabos than CACs.

what i was trying to convey galen ,was that the posts where people complain gets more attention than other posts. thats purty unfriendly to me....jmho....i dont care who likes jabos or not...i think people oughta be able to talk about jabos without all the downgradin...granted i got an advantage i can hand pick the ones i get, but still get alot of bad ones in a case thanks peace ...steve
