Hi Pinx,  I will take the assortment of Peltier Rainbows for our prize in guessing the weight of the jar of marbles.  I have to ask you, is there any action with marbles today.  When we were involved there were several sites that had Marble Auctions each week and we really looked forward to them.  Also, the Marble sites were full of marble enthusiasts talking among themselves, sharing their knowlege and helping each other ID marbles.  The bidding on the auctions was fast and furious.  When looking through the archives of this site it is evident  than the same type of enthusiasm is here but with a drindling number of collectors and I find no real marble auctions.  I suppose that you could say that there  are quite a few marble collectors that drifted away like ourselves. I wish I could pinpoint why we did but I cannot because we really enjoy watching and bidding on the auctions.  I have followed marbles offered on the E-bay sites but it does not interest us and we would not buy a marble on Ebay.  There are  some that had problems with Blocks auctions but I have to say that when Bob gave a ID of the Marble and its condition, you could take it to the bank. If I had a complaint about Blocks it would be that sometime delivery of your purchase might be a little slow, but when we received the marble, it was everyting that Blocks stated it was.  We have not checked to see if Marble Auctions still exists but if they do, let us know and I think that we will be right there again  bidding and all of us will be having fun like in the past.
