Chris,
Great Memory! I just realized that I do not have pictures of my conqueror types. And this type is under a huge stack of cases.
I remember how I came upon them though, and it places them in a timeline. They were in a boxed case of mesh bags, with the picture of the guy with a helmet on the label. The bags had disentegrated to dust, and only the labels remained. I bought them as a bulk lot (dust and all).
The marbles come with purple, blue, and brown filaments. Sometimes the filaments look like bananas. If I remember correctly, my favorite are the brown because the filaments are similar to the threadlike colors of the Master made mibs.
I suspect the mesh bags place them at the Vienna plant, and possibly early Parkersburg.
I have not come across them outside of original packaging again.

Whoa!! Very cool mib. I'm going to have to start backlighting all my Vitros. But the "Conqueror" label throws me off. I was certain Dink's marble was a clear-based whitie. Just when you think you've learned something.....

Pinx, I think you're closer to right than not right. It does have a 'conqueror' look to it in the pic, but it's not.It's more like a whitie or a bull's-eye type that is missing the veneered color on half the marble. Most of the ones I have on this order are green/white band/purple. Like they took the purple that should have veneered the clear side of the marble, rolled it into a banana, then stuck it up by the ends inside the marble with Super Glue or something. (Considering how labor-intensive this process would be, I obviously have a quite valuable marble here, wouldn't you say??). And the banana isn't a mass of filaments, it's as solid and defined as a Pelt banana cateye. And I'm not supposed to be procrastinating on the blasted marble boards. I'm supposed to be doing Christmas cards.
