wow what a day
Well a friend of mine has been telling me about the lamp of marbles his mother gave him well I was at his house and I got to bring it home and take what I want all I have to do is replace what I take with others , the only problem I am having a party for my two grandson's tomorrow and then another tomorrow at there house so it will have to wait till it there over or at least I will try and wait but I just had to get some pics before taking apart . I WONDER WHAT ELSE IS IN THE LAMP . Mike

what a day!!! I would say what a lamp!!!! That is great.....Let us see them when you get it apart and see what might be hiding in there...

well I got all the marbles out and there were just what was out in the open , the one that look like it had some mica/ oven brick turned out to be just a clearlie with dirt on it . As I thought a lot of them were in a fish tank for a lot of years ,maybe a slat water one as there were a lot that were very dull even the 3/4 superman , but what the heck it was fun , all I have to do now is put them back in the lamp and return them .
Does any one know if there is any way to get the shine back with out having them polished ? I think I will most likley just give them a wax job and enjoy them . here are some pics of what I keeped , mostley common , There is a blue oxblood but very hard to see the oxblood might even be just a dark red , A two color pincher , George might like that one as it is white with yellow stripes , OF CORSE the SUPER MAN still niice even though it is dull . So nothing much in side . Mike
O I also keeped a black cat eye and a two color bannana yellow/ white . Mike
