Nice marbles, Elizabeth. I've got a couple like that left Banana, but was never sure they were Pelts. I've always liked the chubby 6-vane Vitro cats too but I don't seem to find many of them. What's your experience with these?

Can anyone provide any info about these very interesting 4-, sometimes maybe 5-, vane orange/white cross-through cats? Thanks.

Ric: You're right, the nice full vaned Vitros are the prettiest. I've found the six vanes to come in only a very few color combinations. The majority are white w/blue tips. You've got some nice examples there.
Your second pic is St Mary's cross throughs. This color is probably the most common after the blue/yellow. I've also found these in blusih tint base glass. It looks like yours in the top right may have the tinted glass.

Thanks a lot, Elizabeth. I really appreciate the info. I sorta figured the last ones were MK St. Mary's but I wasn't entirely sure.

Hi Elizabeth! I'd forgotten how much I like the bananas. I don't have any. Yes! I have no... (Oh shut up, Bob!) And the amber glass is very elegant.
Hey, Ric! Don't know much about cat eyes, but great marbles and wonderfully 'glassy' photos! |

Great red white and blue pic! It's like a state fair decoration.

Nice cat's Ric!!
I believe this one has 9 vanes. Don't know if this one is Japanese-Asian or Mexican. winnie |

BUMP!
LOL. Tried to find a good cat's eye pic to use as an excuse. In the end, decided just to bump!

Wow, nice big flakes of aventurine in that one and you've got to love the bubbles. Thanks for sharing, Winnie!

I have found these marbles in 1930s collections, an early Master Made that is more of a catseye type before popular.
